Prospect Park and The Way Station

Next we take a long hot walk up to the Brooklyn Museum, which is situated in a wide open boulevard like Marble Arch. Sadly our web site has given us duff gen as it is shutting. So we sit in Prospect Park and do bar research.  The former reminds me of childhood walks in Wythanshawe Park, with it's wide open green spaces dotted with families. I made daisy chains.  I was happy.  We would go in the car when Dad got home from work.

Our research leads us to The Way Station. What a brilliant local bar with a really buzzing clientelle
There is a tardis and the cocktails have names like Sonic Screwdriver.  I enjoy a Harpoon Summer Ale, one of the best beers I have ever tasted!!

Back home I am up to the pool again.  It is dark and I see myself swimming back stroke reflected on the ceiling.  My companion makes wraps with a bean and avacado filling. Something I must try when I get home.
