Entertaining Americans in Oxford

The rain soon disappears and it's mild.  The A34 presents no problems and we get straight on the bus at Seacourt Park and Ride, a new experience for us and easy peasy.  Inevitable points problems delay our lovely friends a little but soon we are walking to the Weston Library where we have teas and coffees and a catch up.  All the way there they were snapping and wowing.  I'm so happy to be able to show off our heritage, which I so often take for granted.  Before leaving we look an exhibition by the wonderful Martin Parr

Next it's a wander round the Radcliffe SquareBridge of Sighs and Sheldonian Theatre.  Off we go to the Ashmolean then have lunch at the Lamb and Flag.   Next we wow them with  Exeter College
It's the first time I take photos as I've been to the other places so often !

Here they are in the quad.  How lovely

I  always love michaelmas daisies

Let's focus on the Gothic Revival chapel

We walk back to the station via Christchurch Meadow

More transport nightmares for us all on the way home but Hermes is pleased to see us and loves his card
