Today is a lovely day, sunny and hot. Out for croissants, then we are off to Grand Central Station to get the train up the Hudson River to Beacon. (The Red Dot on the map) One of my companion's friends has told her about a fantastic gallery there. The subway train hangs around Time Square so we have to rush, will take in the beauty of Grand Central later. The train is not lush but it is wide. I think the Americans do not invest in public transport. The views are beautiful and I am fascinated by the river.
