An evening in West London

Arriving in Ealing brings back memories of when I did locum work here.  But now I'm off to Hanwell and three interesting pubs
After a half hour walk I arrive at the Grosvenor where the sun is shining obligingly.  The garden is lovely as is the local Weird Beard beer.

Next stop is a lovely micropub called The Dodo

Groovy decor!

Great company!  It's a great little place.

Next we head to The Fox
A lovely walk by the canal (a branch of the Grand Union) leads us to the bus stop.  There are plenty of good beers  at this award winning pub.  I opt for one of my favourites, St Austell's Proper Job.

The bus through Southall is a nightmare due to roadworks. We arrive starving and so appreciate the lovely Indian meal at Brilliant  all the more!

The journey home is long but fun!
