Still cool but sunny and the garden is uplifting when I take Hermes out for the day. And last night we sat outside to eat. Their is a new Wagamama in Swindon. Great food and another feather in the cap of this underated town. I caught up with lovely ex colleague and heard about how the local NHS is doing. Good in parts is the answer. Nice to hear out of hours GPs are now given more time with patients, bad to hear they are waiting ten hours for a visit. Perhaps some of these social enterprises are OK, but if people want a good service they should be prepared to pay more, is what I have always said. Not at the point of delivery but via taxation and getting rid of obsentities like Trident.
Beforehand we were in The Glue Pot. Heaven. Sat outside with my eccentric chum and enjoyed the Hop Back Citra and Summer Lightning. Beer scores highly. A vestige of my chum's OCD persists but he can joke about it. It's an asset to tidy up. Personally, I would clear the table!
Good trains today, thank you FGW, however late train home did spend ten minutes outside Reading West due to 'a train in the way'. Minor stuff.
Now to pack for Copenhagen and have a quiet day.
It will hot up at 5pm, skype Spanish then Meditation Study Group.
