One of the best ways for people from Newbury to get to Bath is to park in Swindon Old Town and then walk to the station on the old canal. Especially when one has mates in the Old Town.
I arrive late morning on a grey, humid October day.
Lunch with our lovely friend and then on to Prior Park
It's a good old walk up hill and down again
The house is now a private school but the park is cool and we sit out side and have a nice cup of tea and celebrate our kilometres
