Savannah and the School of Art

The bed is so comfy but jet lag persists and I wake v early listening to train noise , their horns and some traffic noise from the highway with drive in eateries one block away.  But it’s ok.  We breakfast on yogurt and croissants and head into town.

One advantage of travelling on public transport, aside from the obvious cost one, is that you get to meet the locals, and in a place lke the US this means you really get to have a chat.  Today, at the bus stop into town, we meet and are guided by a sad, middle aged man who is on the sick and poor following two strokes.  He has a limp but no speech problems.
The bus is fun and dumps is near the visitor centre where an angelic white youth who knows nothing about nothing scratches his privates as he talks to us.
We absolutely loved scadmoa
It is situated in a great building and is run by very friendly and knowledgable art students Scad has 16 sites in the town and has really enriched it.
