Tybee Island

Yet another early night and early start and still a blue and cloudless sky
Our first experience of Lyft is highly positive
B, our driver, has a good old chat about Savannah's history and how the SCAD has boosted the town
He moved here from Atlanta cos it’s so cool
I think of Margate
B is as embarrassed by the US politicians as my friend, J.  He drops us by the pier at Tybee Island.  This is part of the inlet/delta of the Savannah River and has no access by public transport.  This is sad as elsewhere in Georgia we have encountered cheap, efficient, integrated systems.
Here is more info and a map

We start at the diner

Here's the beach from the pier

We walk down the pier

And swim in the warm lovely ocean

We walk round the creek

Happy Thursday!  home with another good lyft
Pasta salad!  Good old J, my cook.
