Indian Summer in Oxford

Courgette flowers from a dying plant which is now in the compost. Everything endures.   #Buddhism #SundayMorning
Buddhist thoughts to uplift my Sunday

It's a lovely day.  I have an early start and head to the Park and Ride then breakfast in Cafe Loco
I'm very loyal to this friendly little place and they do a delicious almond croissant but I wish they'd get wifi.
I walk up Broad St.

I pass the Clarendon Building, which is part of the university administration, Georgian and Grade 1 listed.

And of course, the wonderful Sheldonian

I carry on up Holywell St

Soon I am in the chapel at Harris Manchester College, being spiritually concerned and enjoying the Burne Jones windows.
Today we learn about Jacob Trapp, 1899-1992, whose prayers sound profoundly Buddhist.  He was a radical thinker who fought for social justice.

I have a coffee at  Weston Library
Next I enjoy a picnic by this Thames tributary

Then wander back to the bus stop via Christchurch Meadow

Next it's restorative yoga and an evening with Montalbano!  This is the life!
