Off to Bournemouth

I'm taking the train to Bournemouth for the Libdem Conference.  It's hard to get in the mood as Brexit has defeated me.  However I am encouraged to find myself in conversation with fellow passengers who are also shocked by Brexit and the Tory deal with DUP.   'It will all get better' says an optimist in the corner
Hope he is in the know

Very annoying that I have to go via Reading.  It's all Beeching's fault that you can only go east/west from here.

I find myself back in the modernist Premier that either Mum or I stayed in.  I've certainly been here.  Funny how you see things and it all comes back.

I think of my friend from Manhattan and remember the monster outside that entertained my little girl.

I take a walk down to the front

The sun comes out for a moment but there is not enough time to dive in the sea which is 16 degs according to life guard but somehow less inviting now.   He's been in earlier though he wore a wet suit.  I see another person go in with one on.  I decide not to be fool hardy, though the cossie is in my bag.

Loving the rainbow beach huts

As I decide to paddle I receive photos from Croatia.  So glad they are having fun, it's as if I am there.

Back for tea and a trip to Brewhouse and Kitchen  is next on the cards but it's raining, wish I'd brought my proper rain coat
